Ask is a feature in Appfarm AI for you to ask questions directly to the documentation and your Solution. Access Ask by opening the Appfarm AI sidebar and toggling the **Ask** mode.

Ask has access to the complete Appfarm [Documentation](https://app.gitbook.com/o/-MiLT3Dgct6rIVIV1q4t/s/-MiLU-xcHu0eLZiTxcmZ/) and [Policies](https://app.gitbook.com/o/-MiLT3Dgct6rIVIV1q4t/s/FbVp2DRRmZbcxUUGXqd5/), providing it with technical, legal, and commercial knowledge. It also has the context of your Solution model, enabling it to provide answers based on the current state of your app. Unlike [Agent mode](https://docs.appfarm.io/reference/appfarm-ai/build), Ask isn't limited to specific parts of Appfarm Create–it can answer questions about anything covered in the documentation or policies.

Using Ask does not consume [AI credits](https://docs.appfarm.io/reference/appfarm-ai/ai-credits).
